In May 2011, Isla Natura Ltda. became the first Chilean company to obtain an organic certification (CL-BIO-141) by complying with the strict quality control standards for wild fruit collection and also, another certification for the process plant in Chiloé, Chile.

 

 These quality control standards include:

•  Annual training to our team of collectors

•  Annual inspection of the land where the collection is carried out

•  Minimization of damage to the environment making long-term sustainable harvest

•  Avoiding points of contamination in all steps (from collection to transport to the process plant)

•  Full records during each stage allowing traceability.
